This panorama was taken on July 29th, 2010 from the roof on the Alworth Building in downtown Duluth. This year the ships were not allowed to enter all at the same time. I had to take the 76 photos needed for the pano first then wait for each boat to enter and photograph those at that time. Then using photoshop layer the boats back in. It was really just a test but turned out to be rather interesting.
The panorama was taken in early Spring of 2009. Standing on the lake side of Enger Tower just east of the Gazebo. You can see the St. Louis river on the right, the harbor in the middle and Lake Superior on the left.
