Visitors will once again be attracted to Tall Ships® along Duluth's famous waterfront. The 2011 Duluth Music and Maritime Festival features three of America's historic Tall Ships®, paired with three days of music, food and family fun. Not only will festival goers be able set sail on one of the visiting ships (tickets will be sold in advance only) and experience the thrill of sailing on the open water, but they will also be able to watch the three ships arrive and depart the harbor several times each day, enjoy a wide variety of food and refreshments, musical performances, family activities and educational programs during the day all amongst the beautiful backdrop of Lake Superior. Each evening will be filled with nationally known bands performing live on an outdoor stage behind Grandma's Sports Garden!
